Vaulting - Equestrian

Britain’s 21 year old Joanne Eccles lived up to all expectations when she added the World title to her European title she won last year to give Britain it’s first ever Vaulting medal in the Individual Vaulting.

The host nation won the Team title after an excellent performance in the final freestyle which moved them up from 3rd ahead of Germany and Austria.

In the men’s competition, Switzerland’s Patric Looser gave his country their only medal of the games.
